Established in 2003, THE POO MAN is a professionally operated pet waste removal service located in Rochester, New York. Our goal is to keep your yard clean!

About the Owner:

Russell Vacchetto is a lifelong resident of the town of Webster, graduating from Webster Thomas High School.  He attended St. John Fisher College where he studied finance and economics.  At the age of 19, Russell got a head start on his career in finance as an intern at Mutual of New York.  Shortly after graduating Fisher, he became fully licensed and after working for the MONY Group for eight years moved on to Morgan Stanley.  Following a childhood desire to be self employed, Russell left the financial world completely to begin on the path of entrepreneurship, founding The Poo Man Pet Waste Removal Service in 2003.  In the early days of building his business, he continued to work for several other companies including Compass Environmental, Clean Way of Rochester, and eventually Wegmans Food Markets Inc.  Russell Currently resides in Webster with his wife and four dogs.  Personal interests include fitness, mountain biking, acoustic guitar, the stock market, and of course… dogs.
