We're a professionally operated pet waste removal service in Rochester NY. Our goal is to keep your yard clean!
Will you clean my yard with my dog outside?
We do not mind if dogs are outside while we are there. However, if they are afraid of strangers or aggressive, we ask that they be kept inside while we are there as safety is a priority.
What if you cannot get into my yard?
We need to have full access to get in to the yard. If you have a lock on your gate, or anything in front of the gate, we ask that your gate is unlocked on your service day and anything blocking it is moved. If we have to switch you to another day for any reason, we will let you know so the gate can be unlocked. We do not go through homes to access the yard.
Can I change my day to match the lawn service
Our Poo pickup service is route based, the route that you are on is done on a specific day (weather permitting). Your service day is based on your location, if you utilize a lawnmowing service, we cannot change your service day to match their schedule.
What if there are leaves in my yard or my grass is long
We can only pick up the poo that we see. We do not rake through leaves. It is best when the lawn is mowed regularly.
Do you guarantee a specific day and time that you will service my yard?
When you sign up for service, you are given a specific day that we will be there each week based on our route schedule. We cannot guarantee a specific time, as we have many people on our routes and sometimes there are delays out of our control.
What if I have to cancel service
You may cancel service at any time. Please let us know via email or phone. If you reinstate service at a later time, you are subject to the current rates.
When is my payment due?
The initial /spring cleanup charge is due on the day of service. After that you will receive an invoice the first week of the following month and payment is due by the 25 th of the month. For example: January service is billed in February, February service is billed in March etc.
Please note: that if payment is not received by the beginning of the following month, service will be suspended until payment is received, also, there may be an initial fee to restart service if it has been more than two weeks since cleanup.
What kind of Payment do you accept?
We accept check, cash, Venmo, PayPal, apple pay. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
Do you provide service if it is raining
We do. However, if it is heavy rain, lightning or very windy, we may move your scheduled service day to the next day. We do use Saturdays and Sundays as make up days.
Do you still provide service in the winter?
Yes, we do. Every winter season is different, some are mild., in which case we get yards serviced relatively often, some are more severe causing obvious delays in service. Maintaining service through the winter guarantees you no spring cleanup fee. Please see winter service policy for more information.
What is your winter policy?
In November we send out our winter policy to current customers. Service and billing continue through the winter; however, this time of year can present some circumstances that will affect service. Every winter season is different, some are mild., in which case we get yards serviced relatively often, some are more severe causing obvious delays in service. In order for us to service yards, snow must be completely melted. Please note, this does not mean that if we have a warmup and snow is “melting”, that we will service a yard, as there could still be snow covering the yard. We do not pick up poo if the yard is covered with snow or ice. We do not “chip” through ice or attempt to find waste under the snow or on top of the snow. We do not clear snow in front of gates or walk through heavy snow to access the yard.
For our safety, we do not service yards in freezing cold temperatures, heavy rain, high winds or lightening.
Can I put my service on hold during the winter?
Yes, some customers choose to put their service on hold during the winter months. Please note that if you choose to suspend service, there will be a Spring cleanup fee to restart service. Priority cleanup will be given to customers who have stayed on through the winter and are paid current.
Billing continues on a monthly basis at the monthly rate throughout the Winter season. Winter conditions will cause delays in service. Often, these delays can be prolonged due to snow storms and freezing temperatures. Dogs STILL use the yard resulting in a buildup of feces over time. When we are able to clean the yard, we will have to work harder and take more time in order to get the yard cleared.
Therefore. The concern is with the amount of feces to be removed, not the number of visits in the month. Monthly invoices are no greater in the Winter than they are in the Summer.
